ClayMotion
Put
on your inventor gloves, pilot-goggles and repeat, “Muhahahaaaa! It's
alive!” In this course you will learn about each phase of making a clay
animated film. Stop motion animation is a collaborative effort, and
requires a lot of concentration and creativity. Working together as a
team, students will have the opportunity to sculpt characters, create backgrounds,
fabricate props, draw storyboards and manipulate the figures. The
studio director will photograph the scenes and edit the movie. At the
end of the course, there will be a formal showing of the short movie.
ClayMotion I is for beginners with little or no experience in clay animation or stop motion photography.
ClayMotion II is for intermediate students who've previously taken ClayMotion I.
